Brooklyn is so sunny in the winter. This morning, light was streaming through my windows, casting interesting shadows throughout the house. I picked up some gingko leaves off the sidewalk yesterday and forgot about them until this morning. Some of the few leaves that I've seen change color this year. My friend was just asking what my favorite color was, and I could not decide between blue and yellow. It's no wonder--the two colors look so pretty together.
